Adding a Garden Arch to your garden adds wonderful character. An arch is a special feature, which can be dramatically enhanced by both colour and fragrance. Garden arches create a lovely, picturesque look in the outdoors. Helps turn a mundane garden into a masterpiece, by adding shape, texture and variety to your home landscape design.
Outdoor arches are classic architectural shapes that are often used near the doorway to a garden or home. They mark a special spot, as when used to cover the pathway to a garden gazebo. If you have a flat yard, they can create vertical dimensions in your landscape. They can be included in patio designs or deck designs, let one be the entrance to an outdoor room, or use as a focal point in a small garden design.
After installing a garden arch, you will need to consider which the plants you want to grow on the arch to provide the shade. You can choose almost any plant that grows as a vine on a garden arch. The plant leaves give a shady place for your garden visitors.
A classic choice for a garden arch is roses. The arch will need to have two rose bushes, one planted on either side of the arch. The roses should be climbing roses and not long stemmed. You could choose two identical rose bushes or you could choose two of coordinating colours. You will need to train the roses to the arch and keep branches that will not train to the arch trimmed.
A second choice for the arch is to use grapevines. These vines have large leaves that will provide a good shade over the arch and will also provide fruit in season. The fruit also will add colour to the arch.
If you want to use annuals for your garden arch, they will quickly cover the arch during the first season. However thy will die back with the first frost and have to be re-planted every year unless you live in a climate where there is no danger of frost. When you need to re-plant you may need to remove the older plants before planting again.

There are many different designs of garden arches to choose from, some feature flat roofed arches, curved roofed arches and many other designs. Some roofs on arches are open and to allow climb of rose bushes to continue through arch design. There are also closed roof arches to allow people to stand under when raining. There are also arches with doors to allow entrance to a feature in the garden. Some arches provide benches to allow viewing of garden whilst sitting down.

A great way to keep children busy and entertained is to buy a sandpit. Sandpits are easy to use and fun to play with, can be easily set up and used in any garden and blend in with outdoor features.
When filled with play sand, they give hours of fun for the whole family including toddlers and very young children.
Children move the sand around; dig holes and bury things and can play on their own, or with friends. All children enjoy playing with sand as it opens up a whole new world for them through imaginative play.
For kids, and even for many adults, playing with substances that provide textural awareness is fun, interesting and even relaxing. In a sand pit, kids will stay entertained for hours as they dig, shape, furrow, and experiment with their own unique creations in the great outdoors.

All Garden Fun offer a range of sandpits from square, hexagonal and octagonal and also some unique wooden sandpits in the shape of a ship, which add an air of adventure and encourage imaginary and active play. Also worth mentioning are the combination picnic tables and sandpits. The sandbox is located under a removable panel, and the children can sit on the benches and play with the sand, then pop the panel back on and enjoy a picnic.
